MOT failed, main beam headlight on bulb, headlight bulb not level. And the idiot put it though as a Mk3 and failed it for no cats.
I have fixed the actual fail problems. And rebooked with an MOT center that knows what they are looking at.
All back in now to see what happens when it rains
Today I went after the fish bowl head lights
No oven needed they more or less came away by hand after undoing the clips
Tiger seal later and they can be left to dry over night before re-install
So today I decided to fit the widow trims and adjust the windows. Also fitted the cup holder
First up the easy bit cupholder
Next the before window trim
I took off the door panel and the reason for the window being off was all to clear the adjuster was set to the bottom. Pulled it up and tightened
Next remove old trim again the reason became very clear when I found this
I also adjusted the window tilt to fit a bit tighter and fitted the new trims
Went for a drive and all is good. However this happened
So she’s parked up until my new rubber cones tomorrow
So I fitted the refurb alternator and she started up fine. Tried the new snow foam and I’m pleased with results
So I have plans over the next few days, my headlights are now letting so much water in the look like fish bowls. So I will remove clean and reseal.
Also TCB can supply aero seals for 200 quid having never changed them I will do that.
I have new window trims to do
I want to adjust the passenger window up slightly
And then an MOT at the end of the month.
So the one part on this car i never upgraded or outfitted gave up on me during lockdown. Finally got round to getting it out so it will be on its way to be refurb in a few days
So started doing small jobs on her today
Fitted a SRD slam panel and changed out the crack rear light
Really happy with results

Car is currently away having a 3 year ceramic coat put on.
The wheels are also being powder coated . I will probably change the front and rear aero rubbers as they leak on the drivers side front.
My center parking lock on the roof is rounding out. I plan to mod it so it has a permanent handle so i can just drop it on and turn it without buggering around with the tool.
